What to take with you to the hotel?
Are you planning to stay at a hotel? Wondering what to bring with you? A good practice is to check the number of stars the property has. Stars in this case are the best source of information regarding what the room will be equipped with. You can check the hotel's standard in your booking confirmation or on the website. The more stars the hotel you plan to stay at has, the more essential devices and gadgets you will find in the room. Towel: Why is it sometimes there and sometimes not? If you have mostly used guesthouses until now, you might be accustomed to towels being optional… In hotels, providing towels in the room is a standard, regardless of the star rating. So, you will find at least one large and one smaller towel in the room. You can also expect the entire set to be changed daily. In some hotels, you decide which towels should be replaced during cleaning.

Charger: Is it available at the reception?
Currently, the vast majority of hotel guests travel with mobile devices, which require... chargers to function properly. Hotels are not obligated to provide guests with chargers for smartphones, tablets, laptops, or other electronic devices. In fact, finding a free charger in a hotel can be very difficult. Therefore, it is worth bringing one with you, especially when planning a business trip.
Hairdryer
Hairdryers are a weak point in room equipment. They are indeed required in 4* and 5* hotels, but even in those they may prove insufficient for your needs. To avoid an unpleasant surprise, it is worth packing a travel hairdryer in your luggage. The device doesn't take up much space and offers optimal power allowing for quick and efficient hairstyling.

Basic cosmetics: What do I not need to have in my toiletry bag?
In the hotel room, more often in the attached bathroom, you will find basic bathing amenities. Hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo are standard equipment. So if you are not used to using specific cosmetics, you can save space in your luggage by leaving them at home. However, don't forget toothpaste and a toothbrush. If these items are available in the hotel shop, they will certainly not be cheap.
Bottle of water
When planning a stay at a 1* or 2* hotel, it is worth bringing a bottle of your favorite mineral water. These hotels do not offer water or a minibar as standard. Water will certainly be useful during the night rest. Air conditioning dries the air and increases thirst.
